Description

The FAA is superseding AD 2018-11-14 for certain Boeing 767-300 and -300F series airplanes with winglets installed. The new AD continues previous inspections and repairs, adds applicability for airplanes that had STC ST01920SE installed and the winglets removed, and requires repetitive inspections and repairs for some aircraft. The AD aims to address fatigue cracking in the lower outboard wing skin to ensure structural integrity. It requires repetitive high-frequency eddy current inspections and necessary repairs or modifications.
