Description

The City of Durham Transportation Department is seeking professional Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services to ensure compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards for the construction phase of three transportation projects. These projects include pedestrian improvements and transit emphasis corridors funded locally and federally. The selected firm(s) will provide construction oversight, quality assurance, documentation, stakeholder coordination, utility coordination, schedule and risk management, and transit operations coordination over a 24-month timeline. Proposals are due by September 17, 2026, and a pre-proposal meeting will be held via TEAMS on August 25, 2026.
