Description

This funding opportunity is for the continued maintenance and development of statistical protocols and procedures to produce national estimates of crime and arrest based on data from the FBI's National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS). The program aims to enhance the technical capacity and efficiency of the NIBRS Estimation System, improve the timeliness of crime and arrest estimates, refine measurement methodologies, and support state UCR program work. The award is a cooperative agreement with a total funding amount of $5,300,000 for one awardee. The expected award period is 36 months starting November 1, 2026.
