Description
The Electrochemical Systems program supports fundamental engineering science research to enable innovative electrochemical or photochemical processes for sustainable production of electricity, fuels, chemicals, and other products. Research should focus on phenomena impacting system or component performance, including energy efficiency and process intensification, with an emphasis on scalable, environmentally benign processes that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and utilize renewable resources.
