Description

Pittsburgh Water is requesting bids for the verification and replacement as necessary, of residential public-side and/or private-side lead service lines at about 1,500 locations within Pittsburgh Water’s water service area. Work also includes site restoration of disturbed areas. The project is federally funded by EPA assistance and requires compliance with various federal regulations and funding stipulations including PENNVEST funding, Davis Bacon Wage Rates, and the American Iron and Steel Act. Efforts to solicit Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) are also required.
