The U.S. Embassy Bogota, through the Department of State and Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS Bogota), is seeking a contractor to organize a U.S. Ingredient Demonstration and B2B event in Medellin, Colombia. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of State - Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS Bogota) - General Services Office (GSO), U.S. Embassy Bogota - Event Scope: - Organize a masterclass for 40 Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional (HRI) representatives - Host a trade showcase featuring five USDA cooperators/importers - Provide venue rental and setup, including stage, podium, tables, chairs, and audio-visual equipment - Arrange subject matter expert presentations on U.S. food products - Supply promotional materials and U.S.-themed decorations - Manage product samples, digital presentations, and virtual engagement platforms - Recruit and register participants - Coordinate exhibitor booths and product tasting stations - Deliver a final report in Spanish and English summarizing project impact, commercial leads, attendee database, and digital/social media coverage - Products/Services Requested: - Event organization and management services (no specific products, part numbers, or OEMs listed) - Unique Requirements: - Focus on promoting U.S. food and beverage products to Colombian HRI sector - Generate at least 20 high-quality commercial leads for U.S. food exporters - Deliverables must include bilingual reporting and digital engagement - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation.

Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Foreign Agricultural Service in Bogota (FAS Bogota) will host a U.S. ingredient demonstration event for HRI representatives to promote U.S. food and beverages and support U.S. food importers/distributors develop and maintain the local market for the full spectrum of U.S. farm and food products, including consumer-oriented goods, beverages, and other specialty foods.

By boosting agricultural export revenue and volume, FAS market development programs support U.S. farm income, enhance the overall U.S. economy, and make America more prosperous.

The Government intends to award a Contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable list of prices. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion.

Offerors are encouraged to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting their quotations/proposals. Registration in SAM is not required at the time of proposal submission.
