The City of Beaumont, TX Water Utilities/Administration is seeking bids for the rehabilitation and pump replacement of Loeb Well No. 3. - Government Buyer: - City of Beaumont, Water Utilities/Administration, Water Administration office - Products and Services Requested: - Mobilization and demobilization of contractor, equipment, and personnel - Well video inspection, including oil bailing and reporting - Installation and removal of steel tanks and temporary discharge piping - Chlorination of well and neutralization of chlorinated water - Well and pump performance testing at multiple rates and pressures - Supply and installation of a new well pump (18DHC 6-stage oil bowl assembly) with three capacity options: - 2,500 GPM (245 TDH) - 3,000 GPM (280 TDH) - 3,500 GPM (320 TDH) - Supply and installation of new column assembly (12 x 3-1/2 x 2-3/16), 260 feet of pipe, oil tube shaft bearings, stainless steel airline, and water level monitoring system - Testing and installation of existing well motor and oil pot assembly - Start-up and purging of the well - Site restoration to pre-work condition - Contingent work: acid treatment, brush cleaning, screen and casing repair, and follow-up video inspection - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; bidders must propose pumps and equipment that meet the specified performance and technical requirements - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Bidders must provide alternate bids for three different pump capacities - All work must comply with detailed plans and specifications - Contingent work may be required based on well condition - Mandatory pre-bid conference attendance is required - Submission of all required forms, including bid bond, insurance, and MBE documentation

This solicitation is an Invitation to Bid for the rehabilitation and pump replacement of Loeb Well No. 3.
