The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is seeking contractors for three major PreK-12 instructional content projects: - Government Buyer: - Texas Education Agency (TEA) - Projects Requested: - Existing K-12 Social Studies supplemental texts (Open Education Resources, OER) that are TEKS-aligned - Includes informational and literary nonfiction passages, modules, or full-course materials - Custom-built Tier 1 OER core and supplemental instructional materials for PreK-12 - Emphasis on Grades 6-12 - Materials required in both English and Spanish - Includes Bluebonnet Learning materials for Positive Character Traits - All custom materials will be owned by TEA as work for hire - Revision support services for updates, substitutions, and enhancements to existing Tier 1 OER instructional materials - Must ensure continued alignment with TEA quality, accessibility, and compliance standards - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the notice - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Responses must be submitted separately for each project - Page limit of 50 pages per project (excluding attachments) - All custom-developed materials become the property of TEA - Expertise in Bluebonnet Learning materials is specifically requested for Positive Character Traits content

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is seeking contractors for three projects related to PreK-12 Tier 1 Open Education Resources (OER). Project 1 involves providing existing content for K-12 Social Studies supplemental texts aligned with TEKS and TEA priorities. Project 2 requires development of custom Tier 1 OER core and supplemental instructional materials for K-12, emphasizing grades 6-12, including materials in English and Spanish. Project 3 focuses on supporting updates and revisions to existing Tier 1 OER instructional materials for PreK-12 to maintain quality and compliance. Responses should be submitted separately for each project and not exceed 50 pages each.
