The Department of National Defence (DND) of Canada is seeking bids for the supply of 12 Rough Terrain, Sit-Down Rider Type Forklift Trucks, with an option to purchase up to 14 additional units. - Government Buyer: - Department of National Defence (DND), National Defence Headquarters - Office: DLP | DAAT 5-3-4 - Products/Services Requested: - 12 diesel engine, all-wheel drive, Tier-4 final EPA certified rough terrain forklifts - Must be sit-down rider type, compliant with UL 558 and ANSI/ITSDF B56.6 safety and performance standards - Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) deliverables required - Option to purchase up to 14 additional forklifts within 12 months of contract award - Training and Technical Documentation: - Operator and technician familiarization training courses (minimum 4 hours each, up to 8 persons per course) - Training delivered at delivery locations in English or French by OEM Certified Training Providers - Technical documentation to be provided - Delivery and Performance: - Forklifts to be delivered to multiple Canadian Forces Bases: CFB Shilo (Manitoba), Det Dundurn (Manitoba), Wainwright (Alberta), CFB Petawawa (Ontario), Ashton (Ontario), and Borden (Ontario) - Delivery required within 180 days after contract award - Standard warranty of 24 months or 2,000 hours of operation (whichever comes first) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Compliance with Canadian content and prioritization of Canadian suppliers - Compliance with multiple international trade agreements - Training must be provided by OEM Certified Training Providers - All technical and safety standards must be met - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation; open to all qualified manufacturers

The Department of National Defence (DND) requires 12 Rough Terrain, Sit-Down Rider Type Forklift Trucks and ILS deliverables for delivery to multiple Canadian Forces Bases across Canada including CFB Shilo, MB, Det Dundurn, MB, Wainwright, AB, CFB Petawawa, ON, Ashton, ON, and Borden, ON. The delivery is requested within 180 days after contract award. There is an option for up to 14 additional forklifts and ILS deliverables for delivery within Canada. The contract period is estimated to be 6 months.
