The USDA Forest Service is seeking quotes for a turnkey HVAC replacement at the Three Rivers Ranger Station, Building #2017 in Kettle Falls, WA. - Government Buyer: - USDA Forest Service, Three Rivers Ranger District - OEMs and Vendors: - Bard is the only OEM specifically named - Products/Services Requested: - Removal and legal disposal of existing electric single packaged vertical unit (SPVU) - Installation of new electric 4-ton SPVU (minimum 11 EER/3.3 COP) - Bard W48HFA15 specified as preferred model - Installation of Bard HVAC 8620-223 Defrost Board Replacement Kit (or approved equal) - All necessary electrical, structural, and ducting modifications - Installation of non-proprietary programmable controls - Startup testing, adjustments, and provision of O&M manuals and as-built drawings - Obtaining all required permits - Cleaning of all existing air ductwork and registers using HEPA filtration - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Approved equals to Bard products are allowed - Non-proprietary programmable controls required - Comprehensive cleaning of ductwork with HEPA filtration - Turnkey project including all modifications, documentation, and permitting

Description

This project consists of removing existing electric single packaged vertical unit (SPVU) and legally dispose. Provide and install similar new electric 4-ton SPVU (minimum 11 EER/3.3 COP) with defrost kit [Bard W48HFA15 and Bard HVAC 8620-223 Defrost Board Replacement Kit or approved equals], including all electrical (with any necessary connections or upgrades to the panel), structural or ducting modifications, and non-proprietary, programmable control(s). Perform startup testing and adjustments. Provide O&M manual(s), including as-built drawings. Obtain all appropriate permits necessary to complete the project. Clean all existing air ductwork (interior surfaces) and registers with HEPA filtrated vacuum device(s) and legally dispose of waste.  Disconnect flexible ducting for cleaning and inspection, then reconnect properly and inspect when the system is running.

This project is being solicited in accordance with FAR 12.201-1(c)(2).  The Government will issue a request for quotes directly from local HVAC contractors, and will not issue a solicitation on SAM.gov.  If your company is interested in future small HVAC projects in eastern Washington, then ensure that you have an active SAM.gov account and provide your company name and Unique Entity Identifier (UEI Number) to eric.oldenkamp@usda.gov.
