The City of Nanaimo is seeking information from vendors of electric refuse collection vehicles who can provide vehicle information, deliver a vehicle to the City, provide operator orientation, and leave the vehicle for a seven-day operational demonstration. The City aims to learn more about commercially available electric refuse collection vehicles and gain firsthand operating experience under typical municipal collection conditions.
