This opportunity is for the provision of Catholic Religious Education Coordinator services at Columbus Air Force Base Chapel. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, Columbus Air Force Base, Chapel/Wing Chaplain - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named; this is a service contract for an individual or organization to provide coordinator services - Products/Services Requested: - Catholic Religious Education Coordinator services - Leadership and administrative support for Catholic Religious Education (RE) programs - Sacramental preparation, event coordination, curriculum development - Budget management, volunteer recruitment and training - Program publicity and resource management - Compliance with background checks for working with minors - Coordination with Catholic Chaplain or Auxiliary Priest and Protestant RE Coordinator for joint events - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Coordinator must be active in the Catholic faith and complete required certification - Experience in Catholic Religious Education programs is required - Must manage volunteers and ensure compliance with child protection requirements - Contract duration is one year with up to three 12-month option years

Description

Provides leadership and administrative support for Catholic RE programs, RE events, and RE resource management for the Columbus AFB Chapel. The Catholic RE Coordinator works closely with the Catholic Chaplain or Auxiliary Priest to ensure budgets, program schedules, publicity, and other program requirements are developed and implemented.  Please see the Performance Work Statement for more detailed information.
