This procurement opportunity is for the supply, installation, and commissioning of two industrial-grade rotary screw air compressors and associated equipment at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, to support the 459th Aircraft Structural Maintenance Shop. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force, 459th Air Refueling Wing, Joint Base Andrews - Point of contact: Zerrik King - OEMs and Vendors: - Existing equipment to be removed: Ingersoll Rand (30 hp rotary screw compressors) - Requested new equipment: Quincy (Quincy QGD-30 rotary screw air compressors) or equivalent - Products/Services Requested: - Two (2) Quincy QGD-30 or equivalent 30-horsepower rotary screw air compressors - Must be tank-mounted, continuous-duty, 230/460V 3-phase, deliver at least 125 CFM at 125 PSIG, low noise (~68 dBA), with microprocessor-based controller, integrated air-aftercooler, and minimum 5-year warranty - Two (2) refrigerated air dryers - Two (2) oil-water separators - Professional installation, operational verification, and connection to existing piping and electrical systems - Removal and disposal of two existing Ingersoll Rand compressors, air dryer, and oil-water separator, in compliance with EPA, State of Maryland, and Federal requirements - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Equipment must be equivalent to Quincy QGD-30 in performance and features - All work must be completed within 30 calendar days of contract award, during regular business hours - Installation must ensure full operational capability and minimize downtime for the maintenance shop - Minimum 5-year warranty on major compressor components - Compliance with all environmental and safety regulations for disposal

Description

This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the responsibilities of contractor chosen for the supply and installation of two each, air compressors, air dryer and oil water separator. It’s also for the removal and haul away of 2 each air compressor at 3640 Patrick Avenue, Joint Base Andrews. This project includes the replacement of the existing Ingersoll Rand 30 hp rotary screw compressors (2 each), refrigerated air dryer, and oil-water separator with two each of the same spec air compressor, air dryer and oil-water separator. This will include all the piping needed to connect the two air compressors, air dryer and oil-water separator to the existing piping to disperse the air through the building (Please see attached Statement of Work).
