NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic, through the FEAD Cherry Point office, is seeking Mechanical MACC contractors to replace mechanical pipe seals at Building 4035, Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE), MCAS Cherry Point, NC. - Government Buyer: - Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic, FEAD Cherry Point - U.S. Marine Corps, Fleet Readiness Center East (FRC East), MCAS Cherry Point - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are mandated, but the required product is similar to Link Seal model OS-316 - Products/Services Requested: - Three (3) modular pipe seal systems for pipe penetrations - Features: Nitrile green rubber seal elements, reinforced nylon polymer pressure plates, 316 stainless steel hardware - Comparable to Link Seal model OS-316 - Seal replacement service including decontamination, removal of old seals, installation, leak testing, and site cleanup - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Only Mechanical MACC contractors listed in the RFP cover letter are eligible - Contractor must coordinate utility outages with 14-day advance notice - Strict compliance with safety and access regulations is required - All labor, equipment, and safety measures must be provided by the contractor
