FCC Hazelton is seeking a wide range of food and subsistence supplies for the first quarter of FY27 to support its correctional facility operations. - Government Buyer: - Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Hazelton, Bruceton Mills, WV - Products Requested: - Bulk butter (3,500 lbs), shredded cheddar cheese (10,000 lbs), shredded mozzarella cheese (10,000 lbs), non-silken tofu (7,500 lbs) - Canned and dry beans (various types, hundreds of cases and bags), canned vegetables (beets, carrots, corn, green beans, mixed, mushrooms, peas, peppers, spinach) - Cereals (wheat bran flakes, rolled oats), pasta (macaroni, spaghetti), rice (550 bags), and sugar (1,000 lbs) - Spices and condiments (garlic salt, onion powder, oregano, thyme, turmeric, mayonnaise, mustard, relish) - Tomato products (catsup, crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, tomato paste) - Other items: lime juice, corn starch, salad oils, soup bases (beef, chicken, vegetable), taco shells, tortilla chips, tortillas, eggs (frozen, pasteurized), and frozen individual pizzas (30,000 units) - Quantities range from 20 to 50,000 units per item, with detailed specifications for USDA and FDA compliance, packaging, and labeling - Unique Requirements: - All products must meet specific USDA and FDA standards - Detailed packaging and labeling requirements for all items - Delivery is FOB Destination to the FCC Hazelton Food Service Warehouse - Only small businesses are eligible to compete - No specific OEMs or brand names are mandated; products must meet generic quality and regulatory standards

Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex Hazelton, West Virginia intends to issue a solicitation for the requirements of: SUBSISTENCE as prescribed in FAR subpart 12.6 under NAICS Code 311999. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination, delivery date is estimated to be on or before October 16, 2026. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Complex-Food Service Warehouse, 1640 Skyview Drive, Bruceton Mills, WV 26525. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make a formal single, multiple awards or no awards. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, which is considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered. Evaluation factors as prescribed by 52.212-2 will be applied for determination of winning bid. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 12, 2026, and will be posted to the General Services Administration’s Federal Business Opportunities website: https://sam.gov/. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is August 27, 2026, at 12:00 pm. EST. A signed SF 1449, including vendor information, must be submitted to be considered a viable quote. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Government Purchase Card depending on dollar amount of individually awarded orders. Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
