The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Loretto, is seeking bids for a quarterly supply of kosher-certified religious diet meals for Fiscal Year 2027, Quarter 1. - Government Buyer: - Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Loretto - Products/Services Requested: - Wide variety of kosher-certified frozen and shelf-stable meals, including: - Filet of Sole, Beef Goulash, Beef Pot Roast, Beans and Franks, Roasted Chicken Breast, Chicken Wing, Chicken Cacciatore, Chicken Chow Mein, Turkey Cutlet, Meatloaf, Hawaiian Meatballs, Pasta with Vegetarian Meat Sauce, Vegetarian Lasagna, Vegetarian Stuffed Peppers, Eggplant Creole, Cheese Omelet, Spanish Omelet, Bologna Luncheon Meat, Chunk Light Tuna, and Tartar Sauce - Quantities per item range from 60 to 1,260 units - All items must be kosher-certified; no substitutions allowed - Each package must be marked with kosher certification (hechsher) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Valid Kosher Certification letter required with bids - All products must be delivered frozen or shelf-stable as specified - No substitutions permitted; strict adherence to specifications - Products must comply with applicable USDA and FDA regulations - OEMs/Vendors: - No specific OEMs or brands are named; open to any vendor able to meet kosher certification and product requirements

Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution FCI Loretto, intends to issue solicitation 15B0AT27Q20800004 for Quarterly Kosher Subsistence. Under the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) guidelines, this requirement is for food products delivered FOB Destination to Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Loretto, PA. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract and reserves the right to make single or multiple awards. Award will be made to the responsible offeror(s) whose quote is most advantageous to the Government, with price and past performance considered as the evaluation factors. 

The solicitation will be available on or about August 12, 2026, and will be posted exclusively to SAM.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site for all updates and amendments. Bids must be received no later than August 20, 2026, at 12:00 PM EST. A valid letter of Kosher Certification must be submitted at the same time as the bid to be considered for award. Please note that deliveries will begin October 5, 2026, and will not be accepted prior to that date.

Payments will be processed via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) for orders over $15,000.00, or via Government Purchase Card for awards of $15,000.00 or less. Per FAR 52.212-3, all offerors must have an active registration and completed representations and certifications within the System for Award Management (SAM).
