Description

This solicitation is for the design, permitting, and installation of a new supplemental HVAC unit to provide appropriate cooling for the existing server and UPS heat loads of approximately 14,000 BTUs in the unoccupied IT Room C129 at Moynihan Train Hall. The scope includes professional services such as civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural work, as well as general demolition, construction, and system integration including Building Management System and Fire Life Safety. The contractor is responsible for design approvals, permitting with DASNY, installation, and providing a warranty and maintenance plan. Letters of Interest are due by August 17, 2026, and a solicitation (IFB) will follow.
