This opportunity seeks to provide on call helicopter services for the Department of the Interior in Hawaii, supporting a range of specialized government missions. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Interior (DOI), Interior Business Center (IBC), Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD) - Office: U.S. Department of the Interior - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are mandated; however, helicopter models from manufacturers such as MD Helicopters, Bell Helicopter, Airbus Helicopters, Robinson Helicopter Company, and Bölkow are referenced as examples or equivalents. - Products/Services Requested: - On call turbine and/or small reciprocating engine helicopter services - Transportation of government personnel and cargo using contractor-operated and maintained helicopters - Aircraft types required include: - MD 500C, D, E, F; Bell 206B III or equivalent (3 seats, 600 lbs payload) - Robinson R-66 or equivalent (4 seats, 600 lbs payload) - Bell 206L-1/3/4, Airbus AS 350BA/B1/B2, Bölkow BO-105 or equivalent (5 seats, 600 lbs payload) - Airbus AS 350B3, Bell 407 or equivalent (5 seats, 950 lbs payload) - Bell 212/412/205 series, UH-1 series (restricted) or equal (9 seats, 1,800 lbs payload) - Hiller UH12E, Bell 47G3B-1/2, Robinson R-44-I/II or equivalent (2 seats, 500 lbs payload) - Initial inspection and test of contractor aircraft and pilots - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Contractors must be authorized to operate in Hawaii and maintain a Hawaii base of operations - Services include fire suppression, aerial capture/eradication/tagging of animals (ACETA), offshore and vessel landings, extended overwater operations, and other natural resource activities - Multiple award, firm fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract structure - Minimum payload and seating requirements for each aircraft type - Five-year contract period with possible six-month extension
