The City of Coconut Creek, Florida is seeking qualified firms to provide architectural and engineering design, as well as construction administration services, for the renovation and expansion of its police station. - Government Buyer: - City of Coconut Creek, Finance and Administrative Services, Procurement Division - Project Scope: - Renovation of approximately 25,675 sq. ft. of existing police station space - Construction of a new two-story addition of approximately 20,000 sq. ft. - Total program area estimated at 53,571 sq. ft. - Site improvements and permitting services included - Alternate bid for a six-lane indoor gun range - Phased construction required to maintain ongoing police operations - All work must comply with the Florida Building Code - Services Requested: - Comprehensive architectural and engineering design - Construction administration throughout the project - Programming updates to align with current police and city needs - Bid services and warranty services - Notable Requirements: - Firms must have verifiable experience as the primary consultant on at least three newly constructed police station projects (preferably in Florida, but comparable nationwide experience considered) - Ability to assemble a qualified team for all required services if not provided in-house - Experience with public safety facility projects is essential - Estimated construction budget is approximately $37 million - No specific OEMs or product vendors are named in the solicitation

The City of Coconut Creek, Florida is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide architectural design and construction administration services for the renovation and expansion of a police station. The project includes demolition of existing structures, new construction of a two-story addition, interior renovations, and site improvements. The selected firm must have prior experience as the primary consultant on at least three newly constructed police station projects.
