The City of Laconia, NH, through its Recreation and Facilities Department, is seeking proposals for comprehensive downtown fall planting and seasonal light pole decoration services. - Government Buyer: - City of Laconia, Recreation and Facilities Department, Purchasing Office - Products and Quantities Requested: - 700 nine-inch Chrysanthemums (Mums) - 30 eight-inch Ornamental Cabbage and Kale - 20 eight-inch Assorted Asters - 20 four-inch Assorted Fall Annuals - 252 Corn Stalk decorations (approx. 4 per each of 63 light poles) - 20 Hay Bales - Decorative Evergreen Garland (quantity as needed for 63 light poles) - Services Requested: - Removal and disposal of existing annuals - Supply and installation of all specified fall plant materials and decorations - Installation and removal of corn stalks, hay bales, and garland - Optional maintenance, including watering and replacement of missing plants/decorations through the fall season and Pumpkin Festival - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Coordination with Celebrate Laconia for installation and decoration activities - Maintenance and replacement of damaged or missing materials required throughout the fall season - All installations must be completed by the end of September, with decorations remaining through early November and garland removed by mid-November - No specific OEMs or brands are required; vendors must supply and install live plants and seasonal decorations as specified.
