Guilford County is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide consultation, legal advice, and representation in all appeals arising under Article 44, Chapter 7B of the North Carolina General Statutes. The services include representing the County on appeals to the North Carolina Court of Appeals and Supreme Court where the Guilford County Division of Health & Human Services is involved. The contract will be for one year with an option to renew for an additional year, and the County anticipates approximately 15 to 20 appeals per year. The awarded firm must comply with federal and state laws, maintain required insurance, and submit invoices in a specified format.
