Perimeter Fence Extension and Swing Gate Installation at Keesler AFB

The U.S. Air Force, 81st Contracting Squadron at Keesler Air Force Base, is seeking construction services for perimeter security enhancements at the Division Street Gate. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 81st Contracting Squadron and 81st Civil Engineer Squadron, Keesler AFB, MS - Scope of Work: - Extension of approximately 376 feet of perimeter fence - Installation of two 24-foot steel swing gates - Associated earthwork, cast-in-place concrete, concrete curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and sodding - Technical Requirements: - Fencing system must use ASTM F2408 industrial class pickets, hot-dip galvanized hardware, and tamper-proof fasteners - Concrete must meet ASTM and ACI standards with minimum 3000 psi compressive strength at 28 days - Sodding must be nursery-grown, certified, and installed within 36 hours of harvesting - All work must comply with extensive safety, quality control, and environmental standards - Notable Requirements: - 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses - Firm fixed price contract - Detailed proposal and past performance requirements - No specific OEMs or product part numbers are mandated; commercial construction materials must meet referenced standards - Period of Performance: - 120 calendar days, beginning 10 days after contract award - Warranty inspections at 4 and 9 months post-acceptance - Funding is not currently available; no award will be made until funds are secured.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with RFO part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

Solicitation number FA301026Q0032 is issued as a RFQ for the extension of the perimeter fence and installation of swing gates at the Division St. Gate at Keesler AFB, MS. 

This acquisition is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov/far-overhaul.

NOTICE TO OFFERORS: Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date for receipt of proposals. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
