The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO), is seeking firm fixed-price construction services for the modernization of four bathrooms in the Chancery building at the U.S. Embassy Bogota. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) - American Embassy Bogota, Facilities Management Office (FAC) - Scope of Work: - Renovation of 4 restrooms across two floors (1st and 3rd floors) - Demolition of existing finishes and fixtures - Installation of new ceramic wall and floor tiles (approx. 150 m² wall, 85 m² floor) - Supply and installation of ADA-compliant phenolic bathroom stall partitions (4 units) - Application of aseptic paint (Sika Guard 68 or equivalent, 55 m²) - Installation of suspended ceilings (9 m²) - Supply and installation of new plumbing fixtures: - Granite sink surfaces (4) - New sinks with faucets (8) - New toilets with flushometers (8) - New urinals with dry filters (2) - Soap dispensers (6) - Toilet paper dispensers (8) - Hand towel dispensers (4) - Safety-backed glass mirrors (4) - Installation of new indirect lighting system (1 system for all restrooms) - Full conversion of drainage and water supply piping to PVC and copper (lump sum) - Notable Requirements: - Compliance with both U.S. and Colombian building codes - Detailed safety and quality control standards - Phased execution by floor, with a total estimated duration of 54 working days - All technical specifications and requirements are detailed in the solicitation document - No specific OEMs or product brands are mandated, but Sika Guard 68 or equivalent is referenced for aseptic paint.

Description

Enclosed is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for Chancery bathroom modernization. If you would like to submit a quotation, follow the instructions in Section J of the solicitation, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it to the address shown on the Standard Form that follows this letter.

Site visit will be held on August 19, 2026 at 09:00, if you are interested in participating send an e-mail  to BogotaGSOCompras@state.gov with complete information of your company representatives before August 13, 2026 4:00 PM including the names and ID representative (just one per company)

Question will be received before August 21, 2026 at 4:00 PM to BogotaGSOCompras@state.gov.  Quotations are due by September 1, 2026 at 16:00 hours.   No quotations will be accepted after this time. Quotations must be in English and incomplete quotations will not be accepted.
