The U.S. Embassy Bogota, under the Department of State, is procuring architectural and engineering design services for the renovation and reinforcement of the Chief of Mission Residence (CMR) perimeter wall. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of State, U.S. Embassy Bogota, GSO-Procurement & Contracting Unit, Facilities Management Office - Scope of Work: - Comprehensive architectural and engineering design services for the Front Hedge Barrier Security Wall Renovation - Removal of existing deteriorated hedge and design of a new vehicle-ram-resistant wall - Design must provide visual screening, improved perimeter security, and enhanced architectural appearance - Deliverables include site surveys, geotechnical studies, conceptual/basic/detailed design documents, construction drawings, specifications, schedules, cost estimates, and support during permitting and construction - All designs must comply with U.S. Department of State and Colombian codes and standards, including sustainability and accessibility requirements - Key Requirements: - Licensed professionals with relevant experience must be provided as key personnel - Firm fixed-price, performance-based contract - 200-day period of performance, divided into planning and three design phases - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Award will be made to the lowest priced technically acceptable offer

Description

The purpose of this contract is to secure professional architectural and engineering design services to support the Facilities Management Office (FAC) in Bogotá. The Contractor shall deliver innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable design solutions that comply with the Department of State's operational, safety, and environmental standards, while also adhering to local cultural heritage regulations.

The Government intends to award a Contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable list of prices. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion.

Offerors are encouraged to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting their quotations/proposals. Registration in SAM is not required at the time of proposal submission.
