This opportunity involves the USDA Forest Service, Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, seeking small business contractors for commercial floor refinishing services at the Mondeaux Lodge Main Lodge and Quarters Building in Westboro, Wisconsin. - Government Buyer: - USDA Forest Service, Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, CSA East 13 - Scope of Work: - Sanding, repair, and refinishing of approximately 1,500 sq ft of existing maple flooring - Includes mobilization, site protection, baseboard removal/reinstallation, sanding, filling, sealing, application of finish system, and final cleanup - Contractor provides all labor, equipment, tools, and incidental materials (except specified finishing materials) - OEMs and Materials: - Government will provide specific Bona finishing materials: - Bona Pacific Filler (1 gallon) - Bona NaturalSeal (4 gallons) - Bona Traffic HD Extra Matte (9 gallons) - Bona is the only OEM specifically referenced for finishing products - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Small business set-aside under NAICS 238330 (Flooring Contractors) - Contractor must coordinate work to minimize disruption and allow for adequate cure time per manufacturer recommendations - Compliance with federal anti-discrimination laws required - Estimated contract value is under $15,000 - Firm fixed price contract; performance must begin within 14 days of notice to proceed and be completed within 45 days - All responsible small business sources may submit a quotation

This is a solicitation for commercial construction prepared in accordance with RFO Parts 12 & 36. 

Solicitation number 12445526Q0121 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the sanding, repair, and re-finishing of the existing maple flooring at the Mondeaux Lodge.  

This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 238330 Flooring Contractors.  The small business size standard is $19,000,000.00.  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
