The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, is seeking a turnkey solution for backup power at the Starved Rock Lock and Dam. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, Illinois Waterway Project Office, Starved Rock Lock and Dam - Products Requested: - 1 x 500 kW generator with diesel engine, emission controls, digital voltage regulator, weatherproof enclosure, subbase fuel tank (1800-2000 gallons) - 1000 feet of 400 KCMIL copper wire (600v, XHHW-2, XLPE insulation) - 500 feet of 4/0 copper wire (600v, XHHW-2, XLPE insulation) - 7 x 3" LB conduit bodies (part number 36D189) - 2 x 1.5" LB conduit bodies (part number 49ZW53) - 8 x 3" compression couplings, concrete tight (part number 20VE36) - 2 x 1.5" compression couplings, concrete tight (part number 52AV81) - Services Requested: - Generator equipment startup by a certified technician, including a four-hour load bank test and up to one hour of onsite training - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Turnkey installation of the generator (government will install cable and conduit) - Delivery of generator within 180 days of award; all other items within 30 days - Generator must include startup services and onsite training - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation; multiple generator manufacturers could compete.

Technical inquiries are due no later than 2:00 PM CT 18 August 2026. Quotes are due by 2:00 PM CT 25 August 2026.
