Description

Construct a non-standard design Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (TUAV) Hangar for the storage and maintenance of Group 3, Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). The project includes construction of a new addition and the alteration of an existing TUAV Hangar. The project scope comprises one aircraft storage hangar, one covered aircraft re-fueling pit, one covered fuel storage area, two aircraft monitor buildings, two aircraft monitor canopies, and associated aprons and taxiways. The installation of a fire suppression system (Fire and Life Safety Platform) and bundled Utility Monitoring and Control Systems, and Sustainability Energy enhancement measures are included. Supporting facilities include site development, utilities and connections, lighting, paving, walks, curbs and gutters, storm drainage, landscaping and signage. Measures in accordance with the Department of Defense (DoD) Minimum Antiterrorism for Buildings standards are incorporated. Comprehensive building and furnishings related to interior design services are required. Access for individuals with disabilities will be provided. Heating and air conditioning will be provided using self-contained systems. Facilities will be designed to a minimum life of 40 years in accordance with DoD Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC 1-200-02) including energy efficiencies, building envelope and integrated building systems performance.
