Description

The Government of Canada is seeking a contractor to design, manufacture, test, package, and deliver a three-phase autotransformer (450 VAC primary to 600 VAC secondary, 1250 kVA) for the Canadian Coast Guard's Arctic and Offshore Patrol Ship (AOPS). The autotransformer will enable compatibility between the Department of National Defence shore power supply and the CCG vessel, which requires a 600 VAC shore power supply while alongside.
