Description
The Department of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) intends to lease a deep-water autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) system on an annual basis, with options for renewal up to five years. The AUV system must be capable of operating at depths of at least 2,000 meters and include integrated navigation systems such as inertial navigation, DVL, and acoustic positioning. It should support high-resolution seafloor mapping with multibeam echosounder, sidescan sonar, and sub-bottom profiler.
