The U.S. Air Force, Air Combat Command, 9th Munitions Squadron at Beale Air Force Base is seeking a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) for asbestos abatement and carpet replacement services in building B1322. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force, Air Combat Command, 9th Munitions Squadron, Beale Air Force Base - OEMs and Approved Manufacturers: - J+J Flooring Group - Interface Americas - Mohawk - Mannington - Tarkett - Milliken - Bentley Mills - Products and Materials Requested: - Carpet tiles (24x24 size) from approved manufacturers - Quantity: 212 square yards - Cove base material (Tarkett TA9 Indigo, 4 size) - Quantity: 520 linear feet - Adhesive materials compatible with carpet tiles - All other materials needed for carpet removal and installation - Services Requested: - Asbestos abatement including: - Removal and disposal of asbestos-containing materials (ACM) - Preparation of concrete subfloor - Submission of abatement plans, certifications, and EPA notifications - Air clearance sampling and reporting - Hazardous waste manifest submission - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Carpet tiles must be sourced from one of the specified OEMs - Strict compliance with federal and state asbestos abatement regulations - Work restricted to specific dates and hours (Monday-Friday, 0700-1600) - Safety and access protocols must be followed - Regulatory notifications and documentation required for asbestos removal - No specific part numbers for carpet tiles except for cove base (Tarkett TA9 Indigo) - Quantities and technical specifications detailed in attached documents
