Miami University Landscape & Turf Services Time and Material Contract Opportunity

Miami University is seeking qualified contractors to provide time and material landscape and turf services across its Oxford, Hamilton, Middletown, and West Chester campuses. - Government Buyer: - Miami University Office of Strategic Procurement - Scope of Services: - Landscape and turf maintenance, repair, alterations, and minor construction - Includes work on irrigation systems, turf establishment, restoration, and maintenance of beds and plantings - Contractors must supply labor, services, equipment, and materials as needed - Skilled tradesmen and specialized equipment required (e.g., hydro-seeders, skid steer loaders, tractors, mowers) - Requirements: - Minimum 5 years of experience in turf establishment and restoration - Compliance with Ohio wage laws (both prevailing and non-prevailing wage work) - Responsible Bidder Information Form, Certificate of Insurance (Miami University as additional insured), Ohio BWC Certificate, and Ohio BWC approved SUPR Certificate - Hourly rates, bidder qualifications, and past performance considered for award - Multiple contracts may be awarded; work may be separated by wage classification - No specific OEMs or product brands are mentioned; the opportunity is focused on service provision rather than product supply. - Period of Performance: - Initial contract term through October 1, 2029, with options for two additional one-year renewals - Annual rate increases of 4.25% on each anniversary - Contract may be canceled by either party with 30 days' written notice

Miami University is soliciting sealed proposals via electronic bidding for time and material services related to landscape and turf maintenance and repair. The work includes furnishing labor, service, equipment, and/or materials for maintenance, repair, alterations, and minor construction on an as-needed basis at the Oxford, Hamilton, Middletown, and West Chester campuses. Bidders must submit proposals on the official bid form and include required documentation such as a Responsible Bidder Information Form, Certificate of Insurance naming Miami University as additional insured, Ohio BWC Certificate, and Ohio BWC approved SUPR Certificate. The University reserves the right to award multiple contracts and separate contracts for prevailing wage and non-prevailing wage work, using best value selection criteria.
