Description

The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) is seeking Elder Services for the Ontario Region to provide spiritual and cultural support to Indigenous offenders. The Elder will offer counseling, teachings, ceremonial services, and guidance to offenders and staff, promoting healing and understanding of traditional Indigenous culture. The contract includes participation in case management, regional and national meetings, and reporting monthly on tasks and hours completed. The contract period is 7 months, from September 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, with options to extend.
