Description

The Bollards Competitive Grant Program provides funding for bollard installation projects aimed at preventing pedestrian injuries and acts of terrorism in areas with high pedestrian traffic. Eligible applicants include State Departments of Transportation and local government entities such as cities, counties, towns, parishes, villages, or other general-purpose political subdivisions of a State. The program allows for up to 100 percent federal funding share. The total funding available is $5,000,000 with an expected 9 awards. Applications are due by September 9, 2026.
