Description
This action amends the Class D and Class E airspace at Muncie, Indiana, and revokes Class E airspace at Muncie and Alexandria, Indiana. The amendments are due to the decommissioning of the Muncie very high frequency omnidirectional range (VOR) as part of the VOR Minimum Operational Network (MON) Program and the cancellation of instrument procedures at Alexandria Airport. The geographic coordinates and name of Delaware County Regional Airport, Muncie, Indiana, are updated to coincide with the FAA's aeronautical database. This action brings the airspace into compliance with FAA orders and supports instrument flight rule (IFR) procedures and operations.
