Description
The U.S. International Trade Commission has decided not to review an initial determination by the presiding administrative law judge, which granted a joint motion to terminate the investigation based on settlement. The investigation concerns certain child car seats and alleged violations of section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 related to patent infringement. The investigation is terminated in its entirety following the settlement agreement. No petitions for review were filed, and the termination preserves Commission resources and avoids unnecessary litigation.
