The USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is seeking quotations for a vapor sorption analyzer to support scientific research at its Southern Regional Research Center in New Orleans, LA. - Government Buyer: - United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Commodity Utilization Research, Southern Regional Research Center - Products Requested: - Vapor Sorption Analyzer (also referred to as Dynamic Vapor Sorption Analyzer) - Quantity: 1 unit - Must measure vapor sorption and desorption isotherms for scientific samples, including cotton byproduct-based biocomposite materials - Required humidity generation range: 0% to 98% RH (0.5% increments) for 5°C to 60°C, and 0% to 85% RH (1% increments) for 60°C to 85°C - Includes UltraBalance Low Mass Assembly (1000mg capacity, 150mg dynamic range), Mass Flow Controllers, Stand and Vapor Mixing Manifold with independent sample and reference chambers - Must come with a computer kit (all I/O cards installed and configured), analyzer control software, installation, operation training, and necessary consumables - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Delivery required within 90 to 120 days after order receipt; early delivery is accepted - Evaluation based on technical approach, price, and past performance - Compliance with federal anti-discrimination laws and trade agreements is mandatory - Not set aside for small business (unrestricted opportunity) - No specific OEMs, brands, or part numbers are mentioned in the solicitation or attachments

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 1232SA26Q1265 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for A vapor sorption analyzer is required for the measurement of vapor sorption and desorption isotherms over a broad range of humidities and temperatures for scientific samples such as cotton byproduct-based biocomposite materials.

This Requirement is Subject to Trade Agreements.
