Beaumont Road Milling and Paving Project – Village of Memramcook

The Village of Memramcook is seeking bids for a comprehensive road rehabilitation project on Beaumont Road, managed by the Director of Engineering and Municipal Operations. - Government Buyer: - Village of Memramcook, overseen by the Director of Engineering and Municipal Operations - Scope of Work: - Milling and removal of 35,216 m² of existing asphalt (50mm thickness) - Supply and installation of 3,000 tonnes of Type B asphalt (60mm) and 3,400 tonnes of Type D asphalt (40mm) - Placement of 4,500 m³ granular subbase (0-75mm crushed rock) and 3,400 m³ granular base (0-31.5mm crushed rock) - Construction of 2,800 m³ of shoulder material (0-31.5mm crushed rock) - Restoration of driveways with 100 tonnes of gravel and 50 tonnes of asphalt - Application of pavement markings (line painting, lump sum) - Products/Materials: - Type B and Type D asphalt - Crushed rock for subbase, base, and shoulders - Granular materials for driveway restoration - Notable Requirements: - All work must comply with Village of Memramcook and New Brunswick Department of Transportation and Infrastructure standards - Contractor responsible for site verification, permits, inspections, restoration to original or better condition, and quality assurance testing - Shop drawings and commissioning of the completed installation required - No specific OEMs or proprietary products are named; materials must meet provincial standards

Description

This solicitation is for the milling and paving of Beaumont Road from Rue Principal to Chemin des Scouts in the Village of Memramcook, New Brunswick. The work includes milling the entire length of the road to a depth of 50 mm, transporting milled materials, applying bituminous tack coat, and supplying and installing asphalt layers (WMA-D and WMA-B) with specified thicknesses. The project must comply with Village of Memramcook Standard Municipal Specifications and New Brunswick Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (NBDTI) standards. The contractor is responsible for site verification, permits, inspections, and restoration of the project site to original or better condition.
