The USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive farm labor services at the San Joaquin Valley Agricultural Sciences Center in Parlier, California. - Government Buyer: - United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) - Agricultural Research Service (ARS) - San Joaquin Valley Agricultural Sciences Center (SJVASC) - ARS Acquisition and Property Division (APD) - Scope of Services: - Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for up to five years - Farm labor services to support agricultural research, including: - Planting, pruning, suckering, tying, picking, and harvesting (especially grapes) - Weed control and vineyard maintenance - Assisting with agricultural crosses and other research tasks - Provision of a dedicated Farm Labor Manager to coordinate work and serve as the main point of contact - Safety training for all field labor personnel, including hazard awareness and safe working techniques - Provision of necessary equipment and supplies: - Ladders, hand tools - Two portable bathrooms (male and female) - Hand washing station - Shade for breaks - Drinking water - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contract is set aside for small businesses, including women-owned and economically disadvantaged women-owned small businesses (NAICS 115115) - Work hours are Monday to Friday, 0630 to 1430, excluding federal holidays - Invoicing is in arrears on individual task orders - Contractor must provide all labor, management, equipment, and supplies - No specific OEMs or commercial product vendors are named; the focus is on labor and service provision.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.  

Solicitation number 1232SA26Q0328 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Farm Labor Services IDIQ.
