Los Angeles County Public Works is seeking a qualified firm to provide on-call aerial photography and videography services using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs): - Government Buyer: - Los Angeles County Public Works, Business Relations and Contracts Division - Survey & Mapping & Property Division also involved - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or vendors are named in the solicitation - Products/Services Requested: - On-call aerial photography and videography services using UAVs - Includes flight planning, safe UAV operation, data capture, and delivery of imagery and footage - Services required for structural inspections (dams, bridges, buildings), project monitoring, storm operations, environmental and wildlife monitoring, and special assignments - Deliverables must be compatible with County systems - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Contractor must have FAA Part 107 certified UAV operators with at least three years of UAV experience - Project Manager must have at least five years of relevant experience - Services may be required on County-recognized holidays - Strict compliance with FAA regulations, County safety standards, and prevailing wage requirements - Quality Control Plan, safety protocols, weekly progress reports, and project summary reports required - Preference programs for Local Small Business Enterprises (LSBE), Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE), and Social Enterprises (SE) - Compensation based on milestones; no mark-ups on subcontractors - Contract value not to exceed $1,000,000, with possible 25% increase - Contract term is three years with two one-year options (up to five years total)
