Description

The County of Riverside Purchasing Department on behalf of the Department of Waste Resources is seeking proposals to furnish and install Heavy Equipment Global Positioning Systems (GPS) on existing dozers and compactors at the Badlands and Lamb Canyon Sanitary Landfills. The GPS systems will be used to track equipment operation, monitor progress towards design elevations, record activities for as-builts, increase operator efficiency, provide grade control, and verify compaction density. The new GPS Base Station equipment must be compatible with existing Skydio X10 drones and Trimble GPS Ground Survey GNSS receivers. The selected proposer will also conduct training on all equipment and software used in the program. Installation work is considered Public Works and proposers must have current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations.
