Description

This is a Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract using FAR Part 12 and Part 13 procedures. Supply needed: USMC requires a purchase of a Gator Maintenance plan for John Deere government property. See Document "gator jna redacted" for detail. The Government intends to award on a Sole Source basis to: DEERE & COMPANY, 2000 John Deere Run, Cary, North Carolina, 27513-2789. The circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The reason for this Sole Source Award Intent is that John Deere is determined the only manufacturer of the requisite systems already integrated with broader operational infrastructure. Interested vendors: Vendors interested in obtaining the same capability may respond via email to receive Marine Corps System Command's point of contact. In your response, please indicate whether you can provide the required specified maintenance plan. Responses due no later than 11 August 2026, 4:00 PM.
