DLA Maritime Solicitation for 2,000 Disposable Green XL Coveralls (Silver Needle)

• The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Maritime - Puget Sound Contracting Division is soliciting quotes for disposable green coveralls, size X-Large, for delivery to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.
• Primary OEM: Silver Needle (part number 10863 APRVD, RN 3035) is specified as the manufacturer for the requested coveralls.
• Product details:
  • 2,000 disposable coveralls, size X-Large, green color, made of poly-cotton (65% polyester, 35% cotton), double seamed, pre-shrunk, with sandblast finish, packed 15 per case.
  • Coveralls must be labeled with manufacturer name and identifying number, and meet detailed specifications for material weight, seams, Velcro fasteners, collar, pocket, and elastic foot stirrups.
• Notable requirements:
  • Compliance with NIST SP 800-171 for contractors unless items are Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS).
  • Delivery required to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard; inspection and acceptance at destination.
  • Procurement is set aside for small businesses, including HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, and EDWOSB.
  • Bidders must provide manufacturer details, lead time, and submit a signed solicitation.

ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION OF QUOTES IS AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SAM WEBSITE.

To be considered for award, if the contractor (awardee) is required to implement NIST SP 800-171, the contractor (awardee) shall have a current assessment as detailed in DFARS 252.204-7019 (I.E., not more than 3 years old unless a lesser time is specified in the solicitation)

Items deemed to be Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) are exempt from NIST SP 800-171 requirement.  Must identify and provide information to contracting officer on bid during solicitation period
