The Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Drum, under the Department of the Army, is seeking radio extension equipment and related services for Fort Polk, Louisiana. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Army, Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Drum - OEMs and Vendors: - Howler - ICOM - Harris - Iridium - Products/Services Requested: - 1 Howler with P25/SAT100M to F7520 USA (radio extension unit) - 65 ICOM SAT100 portable radios - 1 specialty board for satellite backhaul (enables interoperability between two radios: SATCOM and LMR or LMR to LMR) - 1 radio adapter cable for SAT 100 - 1 SBS cable for Harris XLS200 portable radio - 66 Iridium activation fees - 66 Iridium airtime subscriptions (one year each) - 2-day on-site training course for up to 15 users (covers operation, setup, theory, and hands-on training for the Howler system) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Interoperability between SATCOM and LMR radios - Annual Iridium airtime subscriptions - Comprehensive on-site training for end users

x1 HOWLER WITH P25/SAT100M TO F7520 USA, x65 ICOM SAT100 PORTABLE, x1 Specialty Board- SATELLITE BACKHAUL MAKES TWO RADIOSINTEROPERABLE EITHER SATCOM AND LMR OR LMR TO LMR, x1 RADIO ADAPTER CABLE SAT 100, x1 SBS CABLE FOR HARRIS XLS200 PORTABLE, x66 IRIDIUM ACTIVATION FEE, x66 IRIDUM AIRTIME FOR ONE YEAR, x1 ON SITE TRAINING-2 day training course to be conducted at Fort Polk which includes comprehensive training for operation of the Howler for up to fifteen (15) designated users. Training shall include set up, both theoretical instruction and hands-on to ensure safe, compliant, and effective use of the system.
