The USDA Forest Service Pacific Southwest Region is seeking quotations for the supply of heavy duty trailers for use in the Sierra, Lassen, and Klamath National Forests. - Government Buyer: - USDA Forest Service, Pacific Southwest Region (Region 5) - Offices: Sierra National Forest, Klamath National Forest, CSA Southwest 1 - Products/Services Requested: - Three heavy duty trailers, including: - 35-ton hydraulic slide axle trailer (2-axle, 4-frame, 8-tire, fixed gooseneck, air ride suspension, 44,000 lb load capacity) - Class 815 general use slide axle trailer (35-ton, steel composition, wood/bamboo deck, oil-bath air ride suspension, disc brakes with ABS, LED lighting, wireless remote controls, winch, safety features) - 44-ton, 16-tire hydro narrow neck Expando lowboy/lowbed trailer (hydraulic detachable gooseneck, Apitong wood deck, air ride suspension, disc brakes, LED lighting, DOT/OSHA compliant) - Additional items: spare tires, spare tire brackets, fold-down steps - OEMs and Vendors: - Cozad (specified as brand name or equal for at least one trailer) - OEM traceability and certificates of conformance required - Notable Requirements: - Trailers must meet DOT and OSHA safety standards - Delivery required within 180 days after order - Technical acceptability and past performance will be evaluated - Delivery locations include Clovis, CA and Klamath National Forest - Brand name Cozad or equal accepted; alternatives must meet or exceed specifications - All trailers must include specific features such as air ride suspension, disc brakes, LED lighting, safety chains, and auxiliary lighting - Spare tire and bracket, fold-down steps, and winch required on certain models

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 127EAY26Q0115 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for three Heavy Duty Trailers with one 35-Ton Slide Axle Trailer.    

This acquisition  is not set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 336212  The small business size standard is 1000 Employees.  This acquisition is an unrestricted requirement.   All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
