The U.S. Army Fort Knox Fire Directorate is seeking a contractor to provide onsite Rope Awareness and Operations and Rope Rescue Technician Level training, testing, and certification for 15-20 personnel. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army Contracting Command, MICC-FT Knox KO Directorate of Contracting, Fort Knox Fire Department - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named; training must be accredited by Pro Board and IFSAC - Products/Services Requested: - Onsite Rope Awareness and Operations and Rope Rescue Technician Level training, testing, and certification - Includes course materials, certification processing, and issuance of certificates - Contractor must provide certified instructors, life safety ropes, hardware, and harnesses - Training for 15-20 personnel over a 14-day period - Two main courses: Rope Rescue and Awareness and Operations Course (1 unit), Rope Rescue Technician Course (1 unit) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Training must comply with NFPA 1006 standards - Instructors must hold Pro Board and IFSAC certifications (copies required with quotes) - Contractor supplies all training equipment and materials; government provides classroom and training areas - Quality control and security compliance are required - Training schedule is Monday through Friday, 0800-1700, with weekend training authorized to ensure course completion

Description

Onsite Rescue Training and Certification in support of Fort Knox Fire Directorate in accordance with attached Performance Work Statement and 1449.

Quotes must include copies of the instructors ProBoard and IFSAC certifications IAW the PWS. The Contractor must also meet training requirements outlined in NFPA 1006.
