NIST's Engineering Laboratory is seeking to procure a 7 degree-of-freedom robot arm and related accessories for research and development purposes. - Government Buyer: - Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Engineering Laboratory, Intelligent Systems Division - OEMs and Vendors: - Productive Robotics (OB7 robot arm and PG2 gripper specified as brand name or equivalent) - Products/Services Requested: - One 7 degree-of-freedom robot arm (Productive Robotics OB7 or equivalent) - Minimum 5 kg payload - Minimum 1 meter reach - Designed and assembled in the USA - One PG2 parallel electric gripper (Productive Robotics or equivalent) - Two or more fingers, compatible with the robot arm - Includes fingertips and power/energy source - One general equipment interface (I/O device) - At least four digital and four analog inputs/outputs - Compatible with the robot arm - Includes power source - One 2-meter linear rail transport unit - Compatible with the robot arm - Free-standing support and power source included - Unique or Notable Requirements: - All equipment must be new, commercial products - Robot arm must be designed and assembled in the USA - Brand name (Productive Robotics) or equivalent products are acceptable - 60-day inspection and testing period post-installation - Warranty and technical support per industry standards
