NASA Langley Research Center is seeking to procure ruggedized Basler IP67-rated GigE industrial imaging cameras for mission-critical applications. - Sole source procurement is intended for LORE TECHNOLOGY COMPANY, identified as the exclusive provider. - The requirement includes: - 132 units of Basler model 109656 (a2A2840-14gmIP67, 8 MP, 14 FPS) - 66 units of Basler model 109657 (a2A2840-14gcIP67, 8 MP, 14 FPS) - 66 units of Basler model 109648 (a2A5328-4gmIP67, 24.4 MP, 4 FPS) - All cameras must be IP67-rated for industrial use and support GigE connectivity. - Import fees are included for each model. - Delivery is required within 7 to 10 weeks to NASA Langley Research Center, Hampton, VA. - The procurement falls under NAICS code 332618. - Interested parties may submit capability statements to challenge the sole source determination. - No other OEMs or vendors are currently specified.

Description

Synopsis:

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for SCALPSS Basler Cameras. 

NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to   LORE TECHNOLOGY COMPANY  under the authority of FAR 12.102(a). It has been determined that   LORE TECHNOLOGY COMPANY  is the sole provider of SCALPSS Basler Cameras

NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort. Performance will be located at NASA/ Langley Research Center (LARC).

The Government intends to acquire Commercialitems or services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 for Commercial

The NAICS Code for this procurement is 332618.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on 8/13/2026. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
