The U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL) is seeking to replace its end-of-life uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems at Aberdeen Proving Ground with new APC Symmetra PX40kW N+1 UPS units and comprehensive turnkey installation services. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) - OEMs and Vendors: - American Power Conversion (APC) (OEM for UPS systems and software) - Eaton (OEM for Brightlayer software) - Products and Quantities: - Two (2) APC Symmetra PX40kW N+1 UPS systems, each with UPS cabinet, PDU cabinet, battery cabinet, NIC card, and RPDUs (APDU9961) - Netbotz monitor and sensors - 18 licenses of APC Powerchute software (6-year term) - 20 licenses of APC Data Center Expert software - Eaton Brightlayer software: 3 BL licenses per UPS, 45 Disaster Avoidance licenses for Nutanix hosts, 6 years maintenance - Services Requested: - Site assessment and reporting - Decommissioning and compliant disposal of existing UPS - Delivery, installation, and commissioning of new UPS systems - Integration with existing generator and ATS systems - Full acceptance testing (load bank, battery discharge, generator transfer, bypass operation, power quality) - Training for at least four government personnel - Minimum one-year comprehensive warranty with 24/7 emergency support and preventive maintenance - Electrical and special rigging services - Freight and logistics - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All software must be APC-certified and fully integrated with the UPS systems - Strict compliance with security, safety, and environmental standards - Warranty includes 4-hour on-site emergency response - Turnkey solution covering all aspects from assessment to training and support - Software and maintenance coverage for 6 years - Highlighted OEMs: - American Power Conversion (APC) for UPS hardware and software - Eaton for Brightlayer disaster avoidance and shutdown software
