This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number 1240BE26Q0097 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for International Institute of Tropical Forestry, Research Unit Chemical Waste disposal.
This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 562211 The small business size standard is $47 M This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
The USDA Forest Service International Institute of Tropical Forestry in San Juan, P.R. has a need for hazardous Waste disposal Service Contract. The Contractor shall provide qualified personnel and all labor for the segregation, classification, packaging, and disposal of the hazardous waste, and gas Cylinders in accordance with all DOT, EPA, OSHA and State Regulations
The service will be performed in two different areas: San Juan, PR and Luquillo, PR
The Contractor shall perform all work in full compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, industry standards, and the requirements set forth herein
The contractor shall plan, program, administer, manage, and execute the work necessary to perform housekeeping services in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, commercial standard practices, on this Performance Work Statement (PWS).
