Description
The U.S. Department of Commerce has initiated countervailing duty investigations concerning imports of welded stainless line and pressure pipe from India and the Republic of Türkiye. The investigations aim to determine whether these imports benefit from countervailable subsidies provided by the governments of India and Türkiye, respectively. The scope covers circular welded austenitic stainless line and pressure pipe of any diameter, including those meeting ASTM and ASME specifications. The investigations were initiated based on petitions filed by domestic producers alleging material injury to the U.S. industry. The period of investigation is January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025.
